We will also be happy to discuss our Saving of the Green program, our money saving, environmental recycling program.
Available on September 27th: A Spanish speaking interpreter. Visitors to our fenced-in areas must be escorted, children are welcome to visit (and feed) our rabbits, chickens (over 15 different breeds), and miniature goats. Adults may want to see if there are any treasures as well as take a look at some of our recycling and larger projects made from recycled items.

Start in the early morning with chores, feeding the baby calves, mixing grain for the cows, and milking cows. Experience what it's like to work on the farm for a day, and be rewarded by making your own butter! Depending on what time you like to start, the family farm has plenty to offer everyone. For those early risers, join the farm team and help by feeding the newborn calves their bottles. After feeding the baby calves, grain must be mixed to feed the mama cows, and then the cows must be milked. Learn to milk a cow! With all of the hands-on excitement, you will also learn about the history of the McClelland's Dairy family farm. You and your family can arrive at the farm, take in the guided tour and at your leisure join in on some of the other farm chores.

Tours: 9:00am - 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Take a guided tour from Farmer George. He will tell you about our family farm history. Then he will take you through the nursery. To finish the tour watch the cows being milked in the parlor, then watch a cow being milked up close and personal! (Tours last about an hour.)
Farm Chores: During the hours of 9:00am - 4:00pm, experience what it's like to do chores on the family farm.
Feed the baby calves: Assist in the nursery by feeding baby calves their bottle of milk.
Mix Grain: The mama cows must eat too! Help mix their grain, and then feed some of the farms show cows - "the girls".
Milking Time: Learn to milk a cow!! Experience what it was like 50 years ago, when farmers milked cows by hand. Get one-on-one training from the farmers.
